Our history
“… small beginnings”
"When I was a young father back in the late 60's I was employed by a local home builder; hired as a framer and roofer as well as pouring concrete floors, porches, steps and sidewalks. However, early in 1970 I changed employers to one who focused exclusively on concrete work and I excelled at concrete floors for some time with this company. Then God opened the door for an opportunity to work with another reputable building company whose owner ultimately encouraged me to start my own concrete company; so on January 1st, 1980 I officially started William Duimering Construction.
Changing as technologies change
After a number of years I began using a new forming system that drastically reduced the time and labour involved in pouring foundations. This way we were able to complete a number of foundations in short order and so the number of builders we worked with also increased. As time passed my sons grew old enough to be on the job site with me, and they always desired to work and learn. And so it continues to this day with the only difference being that sometimes now, since I'm in my retirement years, I'm the one visiting them on the job site!"
